You Can Use Facebook!
Two Sessions: November 20, 27
Time: Mondays, 10 AM-Noon OR 1:30-3:30 PM
Location: Simpson College, Ankeny
Class Limit: 10
Prerequisites: an email account and password and basic computer skills such as using a mouse.
Facebook makes it easy to maintain rich connections with family and friends. In the first session you’ll create a Facebook account and learn the basics: what’s on Facebook’s main pages; posting pictures and comments; and how to use “friend,” “follow,” and “like.” In session two, you’ll upload photos, consider joining groups, control privacy settings, and adjust your profile and account settings. You’ll learn on a desktop computer, but what you learn will apply to the Facebook app for your phone or tablet. **You must bring your own email password for these sessions.**
Instructor Anne Nieland has an MS from Iowa State University and is currently teaching a wide variety of classes through local community programs.
