Using Your iPhone and/or iPad

 

Two Sessions: Wednesdays, March 7, 14; Choose one pair of sessions: 10 AM-Noon OR 1-3 PM

Class Limit: 10/Session

 

Bring your Apple phone or tablet to class and learn to use it better! The first session will start with the very basics: Wi-Fi vs. cellular connections, the keyboard, the “Notes” app, the home screen, managing your apps, and taking and sending photos. The second session will include setting appointments with the calendar app, moving and deleting apps on your screens, as well as helpful apps such as the calculator and the clock, how to extend battery life on your device and more ideas and ways to use your camera.

 

Note: This class will NOT cover Android type phones or tablets, only Apple. To attend you must bring your Apple ID and your Apple ID password.

 

Instructor Anne Nieland earned a BS at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and an MS in entomology at Iowa State. She is currently teaching a wide variety of classes through local community programs and also working with seniors who are going through important transitions.
