Did you know that the Food Bank of Iowa serves 55 counties? Did you know one in eight Iowans doesn’t have enough to eat? Learn about food insecurity in our communities and how the Food Bank of Iowa functions to provide food for those in need. Tour the 48,000-square-foot warehouse. You are welcome to bring a non-perishable food item to donate if you wish.


Instructor Sarah Bonefas, Development Director at the Food Bank of Iowa, has worked with the Food Bank for nine years. She has a BA in psychology from the University of Iowa and more than 20 years of experience working with non-profit organizations.
