Enjoy coffee and an introduction, then explore what goes on behind the curtain of the Civic Center. On this tour we will be seeing the backstage layout and set-ups for the hugely-successful Broadway musical Les Misérables.


Instructor Janet Albanese is Director of Production and Building Services of Des Moines Performing Arts. She has worked in professional theatre for more than 20 years as a production manager and stage manager and has extensive knowledge of the operations required backstage when touring companies come to town.
