In this encompassing and enlightened history, we will bring back the stories of many peoples of the early twentieth century whose dreams of “The Belle Epoch” were altered by the realities and ultimate tragedies of World War I.

We’ll look at the world in 1900; causes of World War I, general and specific; the realities of war in the trenches; the Paris Peace conference and World War I as a cause for World War II..
