Have you ever watched a court reporter (maybe on Perry Mason) and wondered about the machine being used? Learn how court reporters and captioners use stenotype to write 225 words per minute to make verbatim records for court proceedings and TV captioning.

Instructor Dr. Patti Ziegler earned her doctorate from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. She has over 30 years of experience teaching court reporting and captioning at the Stenotype Institute in Sioux Falls, AIB College of Business, St. Louis Community College and DMACC.
